【日経×FTセミナー】Brainstorming with FT

緩やかな拡大基調にあると言われる世界経済ですが、2018年を占おうとすると様々なリスク要因を抱えています。トランプ大統領周辺とロシアとの不透明な関係をめぐる「ロシアゲート」疑惑の深まりで混迷する米国。ＥＵ懐疑派・ポピュリズムとのせめぎあいが続く欧州情勢に、緊迫する東アジア情勢……。海外での豊富な取材経験を持つFTのダン・ボグラー氏とともに2018年がどんな年になりそうか、一緒に考え（＝Brainstorm）、予測する機会を設けました。
さらに第２部で、今後の世界経済の動向をウォッチしていくために、ＦＴデジタル版をどう使えばいいか機能的な使用法もお伝えします。

As we look ahead to 2018, while the world economy should continue to grow steadily, there are various risk factors that could disrupt this positive outlook. Chief among them, is political turmoil in the US given the investigation into President Donald Trump’s relations with Russia and the Congressional mid-term elections. In Europe, the EU continues to battle populism and in Asia there are potential flashpoints in North Korea and the South China Sea….with Daniel Bogler, a long-time international FT journalist, we try to forecast what will happen in 2018.
Our second session will demonstrate the most effective ways to use FT.com in order to catch future economic and political trends.

  ダン･ボグラー（Dan Bogler）氏

  Financial Times’ representative in Tokyo

  オックスフォード大学を優等学位で卒業。1995年にFT入社。ニューヨーク、フランクフルト、香港で記者として勤務。FTの看板コラムである「Lex Column」を担当。後にライオネル・バーバー編集長のもとでManaging Editorとして編集部門を率いる（2005-2010年）。その後、FTの関連会社でマクロ経済調査をするメドレー・グローバル・アドバイザーズの社長を務めたのち、2016年5月よりFT-Nikkei Project Management Officeにて現職。
  
  Graduated from Oxford University with honors degree. Joined FT in 1995. Worked as Reporter in New York, Frankfurt, and Hong Kong. Became in charge of Lex Column. As a Managing editor, leading Editing department, worked under Lionel Barber (2005-2010). After that, became CEO of Medley Global Advisor that is FT’s affiliated company. Since May 2016, now working as a FT-Nikkei Project Management office.
